Summer 2009

Welcome to this section of the reading group at Delta College .  In the reading group, we come together and share  the unique experience of using a screen reader to read.  It is a friendly and supportive place where we have interesting discussions about what we read.  

The reading group is open to all users of screen readers, from beginning to advanced. The summer 2009 version of the reading group will be a little different than previous reading groups. This time you get to choose a book to read from Myra Rivera's website, called "Under the Covers." On this wesite, Mayra reviews books for young adults. She has over 30 books reviews. After choosing a book to read, let Ted or Janice know what you want to read for the summer. We will add it to the following book list so that you have access to the book online. We will continue with the online blog. But, for the summer, we will share our reading even though we might be reading different books. You can always choose to read one of the books someone else is reading. We will let you know who and what is being read.
